2014 In Review: Best American Whiskeys

December 23, 2014

Second in the regional breakdowns for our 2014 Whiskey Year In Review, we have the U.S.A.. Including all American varieties (Bourbon, Rye, Tennessee, Maverick, Malts, et al), the U.S.A. shows Bourbon sitting comfortably at the top of the range.

As ingenuity and experimentation in American Whiskey continues to breach the global market, we expect to see many more craft and maverick distillers becoming available, and producing bottles of higher quality. Of note, a single Rye from Willett sits in the top ten of both Collected and Wished For, while also being one of the first bottles added to Distiller’s database.
