    This limited edition release from Wild Turkey was created to celebrate Master Distiller Jimmy Russell's 70th anniversary with the distillery. Jimmy began his career at the distillery on September 10, 1954 sweeping floors at age 18 and he worked his way up the ranks to Master Distiller. Since Wild Turkey 101 is Jimmy's favorite, this bottling features 8 year-old 101 proof bourbon along with an additional blend of 8-9 year-old bourbon whiskeys hand-selected from a few of Jimmy's favorite rickhouses.     A124 is the first of three editions of Larceny Barrel Proof Batch for 2024. As with previous releases, this is an uncut small batch bourbon aged 6 to 8 years, bottled straight from the barrel. It is made with Heaven Hill's wheated bourbon mash bill of 68% corn, 20% wheat, and 12% malted barley. It is bottled at 124.2 proof and available in limited quantities as of January 2024.     This is the first bourbon batch release from Booker's for 2024. Named after the small town in central Kentucky where Booker Noe was born and raised, the Springfield Batch was comprised of bourbon made on five different production dates and stored in four different warehouses. Aged for 7 years, 7 months, and 8 days, this was bottled at 124.5 proof (62.25% ABV). Available nationwide beginning April 2024. (SRP $89.99)

    Siempre Tequila Plata is distilled from 100% blue weber agave grown on Vivanco Estate Farms in Jalisco and produced at Viva Mexico distillery (NOM 1414) overseen by master distiller Sergio Cruz. The agave is cooked in a brick oven and mashed with a roller mill, and is fermented via the "Mozart Method" with a blend of rum and champagne yeasts. It is twice distilled on copper pot stills. It is bottled unaged and additive free at 80 proof. NOTE: The brand changed distiller locations from Tequila to the Highlands and the packaging has been updated.     Batch 2 of this 12 Year Tennessee Whiskey is the latest release in the Jack Daniel's annual Aged Series. While previous batches will have slight variations, each was made with the same mash bill recipe (80% corn, 12% malted barley, 8% rye). They were also charcoal mellowed and aged in toasted and charred American white oak barrels. Initially, the barrels were placed in the upper floors of the barrelhouse before being relocated to lower racks to extend its maturation.     Old Forester 1924 is the fifth release in the brand's Whiskey Row Series. This Kentucky straight bourbon uses a different mash bill than OF's traditional recipe. Here, 79% corn, 11% rye, and 10% malted barley is used. Aged for 10 years, the name and recipe marks a time during Prohibition when Old Forester acquired barrels from closed distilleries with different mash bills and sold it under the Old Forester name.     For Discovery Series #11, Bardstown Bourbon Co. blended three different Kentucky straight bourbon whiskies together, each with a different mash bill. The bulk (73%) of the blend was aged 13 years followed by a 10 year (21%) and a 6 year bourbon (6%) which was distilled at BBCo. Unconventionally, that 6 year bourbon was matured exclusively in French oak barrels. This release marks the first Discovery Series bottling to include a bourbon that was estate-distilled at BBCo. Around 3,000 9L cases will be available through the Bardstown Bourbon Co. gift shop, at retailers in 24 states and online beginning October 6, 2023. (SRP $139.99)

    This annual release from Russell's Reserve features an extra-aged Kentucky straight bourbon aged 15 years. The barrels for this year's batch were selected by Bourbon Hall of Fame legend Eddie Russell, Master Distiller for Wild Turkey and his team. It's bottled without chill-filtration at barrel proof of 117.2 proof (58.6% ABV). Available throughout the US and Asia beginning July 1, 2024. (SRP $250)
