I can’t give a bad review, but I can’t rave about it either. The more I taste the more I like it. For some reason I keep tasting peanut butter on the back of the tongue. Definitely a spicy finish with pepper and ethanol. Overall it’s pretty smooth and mellow - an obvious 80 proof. I like it much more than JD.

Dark flavors. Much richer than the price suggests.

Very salty and sweet. Highly drinkable once, and then it gets to be too much.

I’m a new scotch drinker. I poured it neat. At the nose I found ripe banana, old orange, cinnamon, vanilla cream and pepper. The taste was sweet and malty, with a lemony sawdust finish. I enjoyed it, but it’s definitely not challenging. When sipped slowly, it’s almost like candy.
