The port comes through in this one. Dark fruit, caramel, nutty and medicinal notes with a metallic finish. Didn’t love it, but a decent dram. A lot of flavors for a 80 proof.

A beautiful blend. Granted I’m not a big fan of blended whisky, this one really impressed me. Ashy smoke with the honey malt coming through with vanilla and fruit notes. Delicious.

Wow! Blended scotch at its finest. Honey, dark fruit, spice, tea and caramel. Very complex. A beautiful blend.

Lagavulin is my favorite brand from the Islay. This one didn’t disappoint. Smoky brisket, vanilla and honey malt notes with a metallic and earthy finish. I can smell the glass for days. Love this release. Need to get me a bottle.

Loved the nose on this one. Fruity, spicy and molasses that I get on most highland parks with berry, extra peat and briny notes and a oily finish. Enjoyed the dram very much.

At over 110 proof this is one of those kick you in the ass kind of whisky. Strong flavors of smoke, oak, malt honey and medicinal notes. Great scotch if you like strong peaty whisky.
