Tastes

Received a bottle for my Birthday and wow, was I blown away. Smooth, Oily, Sweet, Floral and Malty. I really enjoyed this one and will definitely be purchasing another bottle soon. Well played Jameson!

This is a strange Whiskey. The initial notes on the nose are pure alcohol and spice (chilli powder?) Once left to settle for a bit. I get hints of vanilla and honey. The initial taste is bitter and harsh in a way. Burns down the throat and has bitter Gin elements. Strangely enough, once I finished the first glass. The second glass on ice became way more pleasant and smooth. Overall its a bit dull, alcoholic, and simple. Could be nice in a highball, but I cannot do such things to Whiskey. Won't be buying this again.
