Boy oh Boy, am I glad that I was able to find a pour of the single barrel for $12 which I think is reasonable considering most bars would probably gouge you because it's a "special" Weller product. This is a good enough whiskey if you are purchasing it at retail, but please people, do not waist your money on secondary prices for this bottle. I would be pretty pissed to spend $400-600 on this bottle that is slightly above average. I think the Antique 107 is a much better option if you can find it for less than $80.

This has a lot of smoky peat to the whisky, not really my thing.

I have not had the first Little Book, but this one is definitely my favorite of the other three. On the nose you can smell the rice bourbon that’s in the blend. It’s a bit different, but not in a way that is off putting.

Really nice nose of oak and vanilla. The palate follows through with that nice oakyness with Carmel and cherries. Relatively long finish.
