I live in a rural area and sometimes I have to shop the limited selection they have in town. Today they were out of pretty much everything I like in the mid to upper price range, so I decided to pick up a bottle of (what used to be) yellow label. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy drinking this was. Vanilla, caramel, spice, but light with no ethanol burn. I wouldn't add water or ice as it would lose flavor. This is definitely something I wouldn't be afraid to serve guests, and I wouldn't get angry if they mixed it with soda.17.99 USD per Bottle

I find the flavor profile a bit odd for bourbon, and a bit mild. Any ice or water added takes away what flavor there is. For a bourbon in this price range I'm disappointed, but fortunately I caught a 375ml on sale for $9.98. If this were the everyday price I would score it higher, but it wouldn't hurt my feelings if I never drank it again.19.96 USD per Bottle

Knob Creek 9 Year Single Barrel Reserve
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed March 19, 2019 (edited April 21, 2019)Best bang for the buck under 50 bucks. I could just smell this one all night long. I like a little water with this as it tones down the slight 120 proof burn, but it's great straight also. Vanilla, maple, and spice is quite nice :)45.0 USD per Bottle -
My son bought this and gave it to me on my wedding day. And while I appreciate the thought, he has an immature palate. The bottle is fancy, I'll give it that, but the contents inside are lacking for a bourbon priced at $55. It has a decent nose, the body is very young and could stand a few more years aging in the barrel. The tail burns and lingers. If they cut the price in half I would score it higher. If it were aged longer it might be worth the price, but there are a lot of really good bourbons that blow this away for under $50 I let my son drink most of it at the reception and I used the rest deglazing my cast iron skillet for sauces55.0 USD per Bottle

Eagle Rare 10 Year Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed January 31, 2019 (edited February 4, 2019)I like this one. It's like the candy of bourbons. I doubt if it would be a good mixer, but I drink my bourbon straight. Vanilla, caramel, toffee yumminess for under 50 bucks. I put it in my top 10 under $50, and I'm surprised by a lot of negative reviews.40.0 USD per Bottle -
I didn't care for this one. It may be good in a mixed drink, but it's not something worth sipping straight. I was actually surprised that I didn't like this considering that this company produces some of the best bourbons in the world. Flavorless, one note wonder with an alcohol finish.25.0 USD per Bottle
