    Rich caramel and soft baking spices (cinnamon) enveloped by gentle hint of brandy, overtaken by rich but dry oak. Great, but for me it doesn’t warrant the price. $130 in Ontario.

    Thin raw oak, vague watered down caramel sweetness and a soft mid palate burn. My least favourite bourbon in a while. No where close to worth the price. $81 in Ontario.

    Corn and caramel sweetness with slight floral and gentle higher ABV spice, finishing with semi dry oak. Very similar to Blanton’s but with a lighter profile (less sweetness and oak). Unfortunately a rare find in Ontario, priced the same as the equally hard to find Small Batch offering at $99. Worth it, if only just to have the gorgeous vintage-style bottle on display :)

    Smooth, subtle and refreshing. The juniper is there but light and crisp. I can understand the springtime garden inspiration. The floral component is gentle and soft like a whiff of fresh air. It's rounded out by citrus and a hint of tropical fruit sweetness. I can see how some would find it lacklustre but I appreciate the clean refreshing profile. $44 in Ontario.

    Smooth and easy drinking with caramel, vanilla and corn sweetness. A soft gentle hint of baking spices lingers before a short finish. Definitely better than I thought it’d be. It is sweet but not overly sweet like the other reviews make it out to be. It does the job it’s meant to do. It’s a whiskey you can chug at the club without a burn to hold you back, but still enjoy the taste of if you take the time. It’s worth a try. $50 in Ontario.

    Creamy and rich with soft stewed fruit/sherry and rich honey sweetness, gentle heather spice and oak. Lighter profile but interesting, and well priced. $60 in Ontario.

    Fairly rich heather honey sweetness, gentle heather spice, and oak. The richness at the start peaked my interest but unfortunately it fades to an overly dry finish that holds it back. $65 in Ontario.

    Oak, grape/raisin/pear juice sweetness and dry gentle spice. Significantly more fruit (juice) sweetness than Hennessy and Courvoisier but still simple and unrefined. $59 in Ontario.

    Caramelized oak, a hint of dark fruit sweetness that then gets taken over by a rye type spice and mouth parched dryness. More depth than Courvoisier but still not good. $65 in Ontario.
