Alcohol is evident on the aroma. Not a surprise for this proof. Watermelon gummies are next on the nose. Some sugarcane too. And bubblegum. Flavors are sugar first. Watermelon gummies make up the watermelon character. The heat hits hard after that but fades quickly. Left with more candy watermelon and a fading pink gumball.

Grangestone Highland Single Malt Sherry Cask Finish
Single Malt — Highlands, Scotland
Reviewed May 29, 2022Aromas gave me bright apples first. Then obvious oak and vanilla. I’m then cooked sweet apples. Flavor was similar. Apples and oak and vanilla. The heat holds off into the very short finish and is not overwhelming. Some cinnamon and other spices complement the apple that holds on from beginning to end. There is an aftertaste that is a little bit artificial and plastic. -
Aromas are quite nice. Vanilla. Oak. Spice. Some citrus and some toffee. Flavor hits hard though. Hard and hot on the alcohol. A little harsh. There’s some vanilla that finds it’s way through and some butterscotch. Spices like cinnamon and clove on the final finish and an aftertaste that hits the vanilla strings again.

Aromas of coconut. Slightly toasted. Vanilla and sugar notes. Alcohol is very slightly present. Less sunscreen aroma than popular brands. Flavor is super sweet. Cloying too. Feeling like a liqueur but slightly more alcohol finish than most liqueurs. Very very short finish. Aftertaste is barely anything more than a stickiness on the lips.
