Aromas mostly of Lemon Pledge. Floral notes are not absent tho. After a few sniffs I pick up Sprite. Flavor is not Pledge thank goodness, but the lemon is not as present as I would have expected. Mostly floral and juniper. Some bitter finish. After you get past the nose, it’s almost just a gin. And not a great one.

Rémy Martin 1738 Accord Royal Cognac
Cognac — Cognac, France
Reviewed April 10, 2022 (edited June 11, 2022)Aromas are quite nice. Bourbon style wood with grape and cherry fruitiness. Apple and a little fruit cocktail syrup. Flavors stay sweet but not right away. The first taste is cooked apple then oak then there’s evidence of alcohol but it’s not an intense burn. The finish is long and the sweetness comes back. Fading into a candied wine grape -
Aromas of jalapeño rose up from the glass as I poured. But a more focused whiff detects sweet agave and white pepper overlayed with jalapeños. The flavor is multi layered for sure. Sweet agave nectar is the first flavor. Quickly giving way to double heat. Alcohol heat and burning jalapeño heat. The start of the finish brings on some candied vanilla. Then jalapeño hits hard and lingers well into the aftertaste. Minutes and minutes afterward. A delightful mouth burn along with it.

Very promote nose of charred wood. Some melon notes. Dry grass. Strangely I detect agave too. Flavors are obviously smoke. melon turns to apple and spice. Then smoke wafts back in along with a nice warming heat lasting throughout the finish and into the aftertaste.29.99 USD per BottleCostco Wholesale
