Dalmore Cigar Malt Reserve
Single Malt — Highlands, Scotland
Reviewed December 26, 2017 (edited April 24, 2018)Enjoying this without a cigar is astounding. Reminds me of a smoke house aromas for fine meats etc. Greeting this is a pleasure to any Dalmore fan. Plenty going on with a slight wood to keep the cigar flavourings theme. Interesting it is but Would lean towards the distillerys 15 or 18 yr old if had the choice. Adventurous. -
Benromach 10 Year
Single Malt — Speyside, Scotland
Reviewed December 26, 2017 (edited April 24, 2018)Some can find this too smokey. It tickles harsh on aftertaste. Not one to treat lightly. Make sure you guard is up before meeting this strong one. -
An exclusive malt from Bushmills that can only be purchased directly from the distillery. They are very proud of this reserve and so they should be. Having tasted a free glass on the Bushmills distillery tour I was eager to purchase a bottle. You are greeted with a very smooth and full taste, hints honey and marmalade which rests into a easy warm note. You want the best whiskey from the Irish? Look no further. Excellent!

Highland Park 12 Year Viking Honour
Single Malt — Islands, Scotland
Reviewed November 7, 2017 (edited December 26, 2017)Simply sweet, very slight smoke. If can do straight and not hot on lips. Possible buy if you like to dip onto the smokey side of Scotland without entering a fire.
