Classic 12 year with a nice citrus-vanilla balance and an additional hint of oaky spice

An unexpected twist. A buttery, and more caramel/toffee-like, taste adds a new level of enjoyment to a classic bold, bourbon whiskey.

Surprisingly much bolder and more complex than the already enjoyable 12 year. A deeper combination of oak, vanilla, citrus, and nutmeg with a mild spice and and earthy balance.

Although the complexion was surprisingly light, there was strong, oaky char-taste that seemed to overpower a lot of the subtle citrus and vanilla notes. The ‘new barrel oak’ taste overpowered what could have been a sweeter, enjoyable drink
