Tastes

The nose on this is pretty solid, but I feel like the palate does not match. Sweet vanilla on the nose. A lot of spice on the palate. Probably a good mixing bourbon for me, but I have plenty of others I enjoy neat over this one.

One of the first bottles I was gifted that got me into bourbon. I quickly discovered there is much much better than standard Woodford Reserve. This one has a chemical taste I can pick out in blinds. Tons of better options out there in this price range.

Got a decent bourbon collection going. This is one of my least favorite bottles by far. There’s a weird note that seems sort of drying on the finish. Don’t think I’ll be replacing this bottle in the collection.
