Fin: Short flat finish of a cardboard box printed with colored ink.
Taste: Mellow mallow. Candied candy. Breaded maple char. Honey nutmeg. Communion water.
Aroma: Butterscotch nut butter. Ripe banana and guava. Cupcake. Maple vanellin.
Wapsie Valley corn front and center. Musty and dank. Paired with sweet hay, all machine cut and dusty corn grit on a hot summer eve.
I drank it. Poured some more. And drank it again. Didn’t hate it. Nothing offensive.
‘Blantons butterscotch little buddy’. Had blind w/ Blantons, denoted the AAA w/ the butterscotch punch. Butterscotch & toffee on the aroma, taste and finish. $ for the $. Now just to find it on the shelf again.
