Tastes

The peat and smoke are powerfully evident on the nose. Strongly smokey and peaty with an underlying hint of wood and caramel. A slight burn as it goes down the throat that continues into the belly. Aftertaste retains the smoke and turns slightly bitter.

Mildly peated and vanilla on the nose. Nice, strong smokey, peated taste with a rich, oily sweetness. Very easy to drink. Nice, mild aftertaste.

Strong wheat and slight burning on the nose. Feels a lot stronger than 46% ABV. Nice wheat taste, slightly bitter, not very complex. Aftertaste is mostly a milder version of the mouth taste.

A whiff of grain and spice on the nose. Has an immediate spicy kick as soon as it hits the tongue. Very warm and slightly bitter with vanilla and caramel notes. Very smooth with a bitter, warm aftertaste.

Sweet and vanilla on the nose. Lovely sweet, vanilla flavor with a hint of bitterness at the back of the throat. Mild, pleasant aftertaste.
