In 2018, Casa Petro Alambique was created by the union of the Petters and Romani Families. A modern still, with a beautiful structure, built with cutting-edge equipment. An Alembic created especially to welcome drink lovers, taking interaction from the production process to tasting. Cachaça Prata, also known as Cachaça Branca or Cachaça Tradicional, is a variety of cachaça that does not undergo the aging process in wooden barrels, which differentiates it from gold or yellow cachaça. Its main characteristic is transparency, maintaining a crystal clear color without any color change due to aging. Handcrafted Prata cachaça usually has unique characteristics. It can have a mild, sometimes sweet flavor, with herbaceous, floral or fruity notes, depending on the region of production, the variety of sugar cane and the fermentation and distillation methods used. As it is an unaged Cachaça, without passing through wood, Prata is often used in cocktails, such as caipirinha, due to its ability to prepare well with other ingredients, providing a clean and fresh base. Our Cachaça Prata Casa Petro won the SILVER medal in Brussels, Belgium in the SPIRITS SELECTION competition in 2021. Source: Casa Petro website.8.0 USD per BottleMr. Crab Seafood BH -
CACHAÇA JECEABA AMBURANA & JEQUITIBÁ
Cachaça — Jeceaba, Minas Gerais, Brazil
Reviewed August 3, 2024 (edited August 20, 2024)Cachaça Jeceaba was born in the municipality of Jeceaba, a peaceful town with hospitable people, one of the treasures of Minas Gerais, which became the birthplace of one of the best Cachaças in Brazil. With a unique manufacturing process, all phases are under the care of the Dutra Sejas family. To achieve excellent production and obtain the best performance from the raw material, sugar cane is carefully selected on the plantation and each phase of distillation is carried out with strict quality control. The family's love can be seen in each dose of its products, the result of monitored and personalized monitoring of the entire manufacturing process, where every detail was thought out to make the drink sophisticated and exclusive. Cachaça Jeceaba Amburana E Jequitibá 750ml is a blend of two woods, amburana and pink jequitibá, which age the drink for two years in six months (two years in jequitibá and six months in amburana). With 41% alcohol content, it is a unique drink, easy to identify (characteristic of cumaru) that gives the cachaça a magnificent color, a crystalline amber that already hints at what is to come. Furthermore, it has a sweet touch that softens the alcoholic perception of the cachaça, integrating typical amburana flavors such as vanilla and a very inviting floral aromatic sensory. Soft in the mouth, it has a medium body that does not deny its origins in the Jequitibá. Cachaça Jeceaba Amburana and Jequitibá come to harmonize with very particular culinary moments, notably when tasting sweet and sour dishes and even when making desserts. Furthermore, it is a great choice for moments of relaxation and even to be enjoyed with a medium cigar, stimulating perception and sensory travel.
