Tastes

I really enjoy this bourbon. The nose is full of chocolate with a hint of raisins. For me, the raisin notes really come out when tasting, along with the rye spices. It is surprisingly complex for such a sweet bourbon. This is a difficult bottle to come by in most controlled states, but if you have the opportunity, it is a definite buy.

Nose has notes of vanilla and orange. The palate has very strong notes of vanilla and heat. Overall, a very simple tasting experience, and I prefer other whiskeys at its price.

A lot of cherry in the nose and taste. The taste is a little sweet at the end, with a lot of heat. It's good, but not my favorite at its price range.

It's good. Has a bit more heat to it than other bourbons in its price range. Subtle hints of vanilla. I can detect other flavors, but it will likely take a lot more time with this bourbon to specifically define them.

The nose has a light smoke with a bit of caramel sweetness. Taste is similar, with just a hint of smoke and a bit of chocolate and caramel. After a couple of tastings I have also detected a salty flavor.

Chocolate and citrus immediately hits the nose. The primary taste is that of chocolate and a small amount of smoke/tobacco. Reminds me of a more complex version of Monkey Shoulder, but at nearly twice the price.
