Tastes

Nose is kind of spicy, peppery like. It's not smooth but it's not difficult either at 80 proof. The finish is kind of sweet and then the burn hits and stays for a while but it's pleasant. A good lighter proof bourbon.

I'm a big fan of peaty Isle Scotch. This definitely meets that at an incredible price. No one would confuse this for a more complex Laphroigh or Ardbeg but it really is good, even more stunningly good foe the price. I think the complexity it misses is some of the more expensive Isla whiskeys is that at the end they usually turn t Malty and sweet where this one doesn't.

Very much like a desert bourbon after a meal. Excellent, sweet and grapey.

Very strong ethanol smell. Nose is leathery, short finish and not very complex. It's not bad but probably better out there for the price.

Very complex. Wood. Cherries vanilla some floral.

Smooth at first and then pops. Very strong
