I.W. Harper Straight Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed February 10, 2020 (edited April 28, 2020)I really like this one. Definitely a sweeter bourbon, but not cloying. The burn let's you know it's there, but doesn't make you gasp. Good to sip and makes excellent whiskey forward cocktails such as an Old Fashioned, a Manhatten or Boulevardiers. Don't waste this one on "hide the booze" drinks using sodas or lots of fruit juices... plenty of cheap bourbon out there to do that with... you're going to want to taste this one. I bought my bottle for $20... I'd buy it again at even a higher price. Recommended.19.99 USD per BottleWest Trenton Fine Wines & Liquors Inc. -
I.W. Harper Straight Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed December 17, 2019 (edited February 8, 2020)Definitely on the sweeter end of the spectrum, good for introducing someone to bourbon. Makes a nice mixed drink (I used it in Boulevardiers, whiskey sours and added it to eggnog)... adds a nice bourbon flavor w/o an overpowering booziness. I will buy it again (especially if I find it on sale again).19.99 USD per BottleWest Trenton Fine Wines & Liquors Inc. -
