Tastes

Nose: floral with a shoe polish smell. Cinnamon, charred oak, very oily and spreads very well over the palate. The fruit taste is close to peach. Finish: very smooth with little burn. Summer Campfire.

Nose: citrusy, sea side First taste: orange rind, excellent ex-bourbon flavor. Finish: vanilla lemon, I dig this one a lot. Very good clean fruity non-complicated whisky.

Nose: carrot cake and raisin and dried apricots Taste: cardamom, cinnamon, walnuts Very excellent drink for winter. I really do love this one a lot.

Nose: Burnt oak, expired fire, fall air Taste: peat, sea salt, long lasting finish.

Nose: Sea spray with a beach wood smell or as if you were sitting at a dock. Taste: chili/cinnamon spicy and pretty waxy flavored (little bit of dislike for that for me) with a couple drops of water reveals some peat which is great. Finish: very simple. Short lasting. A Hershey Kiss finish. I gave this one a 3.75 because my tastebuds found the flavor a little weaker than I was expecting but I am a very peaty scotch drinker.

I dig this one a lot for an after dinner scotch. Very rich in a dark chocolate cake feel. Palate/taste: salty Toffee fudge. Finish: dark chocolate, pomegranate Very excellent. Full of flavor

Nose: bit burn on the nose from the 46%. Cover and swirl. Floral and nectar. Initial taste: sweet biscuit with honey. Palate: cinnamon apple, and a nice peanut brittle.

Nose: melon malt Palate: peach, Smokey apricot Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt Nose: A light, aromatic nose with hints of barley malt, almonds, hazelnuts and manuka honey/beeswax. Palate: Very fruity palate with a mix of stewed fruits, dessert wine, apple peels and honey. Becomes quite oaky late palate. Finish: A medium-length finish with barley and freshly mown grass…
