surprisingly good. nose is malt and fresh overripe apples. palate is apples, honey, little ethanol. glad I revisited this. 84/100

came in with low expectations, but was pleasantly surprised. the nose is bad, just heavy ethanol burn. palate is sweet honey, grain alcohol, and reminds me a bit of a cheap blended scotch. I can sip this neat and be happy if this is the best option available. 80/100

delicious, waxy mouth feel, nose is cherries and vanilla, palate is light mint, strong vanilla, baking spice, and cinnamon. gets a lot better after sitting awhile with a generous three teaspoons of water. Brown sugar. Yum. 93/100

this is surprisingly good. needs quite a lot of water. butterscotch, gentle red hot candy sweet cinnamon, still that plastic note I get from all just very faint compared to others. 88/100

nose- scotch scotch scotch. bit alcohol burn when neat. a half tsp water tones down and smells pleasant. palate- light orange, little butterscotch, ashy barely smoke, smooth easy drinker that tastes like scotch. can definitely pick up on a decent amount of grain whisky. there is a little iodine on the back half, probably from the talisker. if there are limited options, this is a go-to sipper when it's crunch time. 84/100
