Tastes

Smelled seaweed for sure, and perhaps salt and hickory. Tasted seaweed, lightly smoked ham, mildly earthy and definitely briny. Just the right amount of peat. I loved and love it. Best bang for the buck.

Sniff sniff... can't quite put a finger to it but I wanna say slightly burnt brown sugar, slightly roasted peanuts. The taste opens up sweet and nutty and a hint of dark chocolate -- I also tasted sweet beets, seriously. But that quickly vanishes and replaced by spice... followed by a looongg finish of, guess what, spice. I gotta be in a good mood, or something, to buy it again. But I won't shy from it if a friend is serving it for free.

Liked it. Smooth. Light caramel. Slightly spicy. Oily finish. Nose is... meh, but not bad -- I wanna say astringent + raisin + salt.

I really like this scotch. It is a very good scotch, for my taste. Drank this a couple of months ago and I can still remember its enticing aroma and delicious taste. Very delicious, i loved rolling it in my mouth.

Good scotch, but too expensive for the overall experience. It tasted like Glenlivet 12 yrs, only a tad better and smoother.

I tried liking this, but it was too sweet for me -- as if a tablespoon of sugar was put in it. Don't get me wrong, it's not bad... but not great either.

I tried this for the 2nd time. Didn't impress me the first time around, but this time has grown on me. Very peaty, slightly salty, very delicious.

Pretty darn good. One of my favourite scotch. Citrusy and smooth -- just damn smooth.
