While neat, this tequila is what happens when smooth and spicy meet. It enters smooth with a vanilla flavor, then the spice kicks in intensely but briefly, and then it mellows out to a nice smooth finish. Over ice, the spice is less prominent and the smooth is more so, over a short period of time the spice nearly vanished and your left with a ridiculously smooth tequila.

Not a huge irish whisky fan to start so I am a bit biased. I’m not a big scotch drinker and I feel like all Irish whisky has a scotch profile to them. That being said, this is a very sweet sippable Irish whisky. Very smooth on both the entry and the finish. Definitely fruity and vanilla notes. Aside from the general Irish scotch profile I am a big fan of everything else. If you like Irish whisky, you will enjoy this.

I’ll preface with the fact that I am not a big Irish whisky fan. That being said, this is very sippable. Still has the initial Irish bite that I’m not a huge fan of, but what follows is very sweet and a solid vanilla finish that keeps me coming back. Probably wouldn’t buy myself a bottle but I would drink it again.

I can see why this is viewed so favorably by experts and users alike: value. While this is nothing wildly unique, as far as sipping bourbons go, it does what it’s supposed to do well. Enters really calm and coats the palate with a smooth silky texture that is really welcoming. Then you get notes of salted caramel and light spice, which linger into the finish for a medium duration. Really enjoyable sipping bourbon that can be enjoyed liberally without breaking the bank.30.0 USD per Bottle
