Four Roses Small Batch Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed January 19, 2019 (edited January 26, 2019)Initially rated a 3 as I began my glass, but as my one small ice cube began to melt, the experience changed significantly. What started as dry, spicy with a significant after-burn, transitioned drastically into a very liquid-y, rich oak flavor that was really nice; and the finish changed to a very honey-esq sweetness. All in all, enjoyable and complex bourbon for the price.32.0 USD per Bottle -
Espolòn Blanco Tequila
Tequila Blanco — Los Altos, Jalisco, Mexico

Knob Creek Cask Strength Straight Rye (2018 Release)
Rye — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed January 13, 2019 (edited January 17, 2019)The nose here is a really nice spicy rye. Starts smooth on the taste buds but then accelerates through some spicy-ness and finishes a bit bitter for my liking and it lingers. Not a huge fan of drinking rye’s straight, so I may be biased. This did however, make the best (and most expensive) Manhattan I’ve ever had. The vermouth and cherries perfectly balanced out the bitter finish and made for a flavorful and smooth Manhattan.70.0 USD per Bottle -
Woodford Reserve Double Oaked
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed January 12, 2019 (edited January 14, 2019)Just wonderful. Near perfect combination of bold flavor and smooth/palatable. Starts with bold oak flavors and finishes pleasantly sweet. Probably top 2-3 sipping bourbons. Also makes a decadent old fashioned.55.0 USD per Bottle -
Espolòn Reposado Tequila
Tequila Reposado — Los Altos, Jalisco, Mexico
Reviewed January 11, 2019 (edited September 26, 2019)Really refreshing over ice with a squeezed lime wedge. Very citrus-y and would make a great sipper on a hot day.
