Excellent higher proof wheated bourbon. Too bad it’s so hard to find. Nice long finish that ends with slight sweet smoke.

Starts sweet but quickly switches to tart finish. Probably better as a mixer.

High proof candy in a bottle. After you give it time, it opens to be more Smokey and sweet. Excellent choice if you like a sweet high proof.

This s a decent lower prof bourbon. It’s definitely easy on the budget, but surprisingly good. On our blind tasting of 5 of the Old Foresters, this was third which really surprised me. It is a little short on the finish which you might expect from a lower proof. Give it a try!

Definitely high proof, but I added a small amount of water and it really opened up and calmed the heat. Very tasty and slightly sweet.

It’s not bad, but the nose is better than the finish. Frankly it’s a little harsh and spicy. It definitely isn’t typical of a Tennessee product. It’s not bad, but there are definitely better at this price point.

Very smooth with a hint of vanilla, Carmel, and fruits. My personal favorite wheated bourbon.

Sweet on the nose with hints of oak, vanilla and almost a banana. Finish is less sweet and smooth for a higher proof bourbon.
