Tastes

Nose: congac nose translates well into enhancing the whiskeys bsckbone, not mask it. Grainy, slightly sweet, chocolate, some pepper on the finish and long tannic oak.

Nose: very malted barely type of nose Palette: smooth vanilla like bartons. Earthy grains, cereal, cinnamon, nothing peppery, medium length

Strong malty nose, earthy and grassy. Some citrus and pear nose. Pallette: peary for sure, not vert sweet, light bodied. Peanut simmers in along with some more grassiness. Slight vanilla and cinnamon. Very interesting how these all play noce together. Finish is short with slight smoke.

Wow chocolate and daek fruit notes. So smooth, finish lingers. Wish i could find this one!

Pur wine house Herbal nose, not too sweet but the pallette the herbal notes carry over with some dill and cinnamon, the finish lingers. Maple syrup. Excellent!

Daveco barrel #034. 60.8%. Copper color in a glencairn Oak and cedar nose. Slight burnt sugar. Sweet and smooth. Licorice and spearmint. Orange amd brown sugar. Smoked oak in the finish thet lingers for a while. Very well done.

Daveco single barrel. 10265C winter 2022. 110 proof. Red mahogany color. A rich grainy nose, not unlike maple syrup cheerios. Hints of fig and rosemary, slight hint of cherry. Palette: sweet up front. Fades quickly to a grainy mid palette, with more dark fruits and herbal notes. Finish is long and spicy, going in and out with sweet fruits from the port barrels. Some French toast and dill linger. Hints of almonds. This would probably be great without the port finishing where the port adds that darker fruit dimension. Great pour.

Grainy nose Sweet up front followed by a tootsie roll flavor that lingers. Fun! Easy daily sipper

Seelbach: 109.4 proof Almost a malty nose. Palette: cereal, sweet corn, syrup, sight dark fruit flavors. Long sweet finish.

Grassy notes on the nose Palette: super sweet, smooth, doesnt taste 111 proof, some banana bread, feels like a rye finish. Medium length finish
