Cragganmore 12 Year
Single Malt — Speyside, Scotland
Reviewed March 25, 2021 (edited March 26, 2021)Fruity citrus orange pear mid pep floral, 2.25 Sweetness citrus light and not dense or oily slight bitterness at the tailed 2 Oaky bitterness mid sustain 2 Cragganmore 12YO Sweet notes stoke your nose, candy that you ate while growing up, sweets that smells like those you get under a dollar (not a bad thing, nolstalgia) , cherry, fruity citrus 3 Beautiful citrus sweetness coats your mouth, no burn whatsoever, very easy to drink and pleasant notes, this whisky hits more towards a dessert drink and would go very well with something hard hitting (dark chocolate or some unseasoned steak), beautifully south and balance, honey 3 Low sustain but you get a continued sweetness flow thru. This whisky overall isn’t a peated one for me, but very pleaaant 2 2.75 -
