Del Maguey Arroqueño Mezcal
Mezcal Joven — Oaxaca, Mexico
Reviewed January 25, 2020 (edited July 31, 2022)Possibly the best mezcal I’ve ever tried, and this is coming from someone who prefers tequilas and aged ones at that. Full of flavors papaya, pineapple, melon, mango, loads of citrus on the palate, a little smoke, a little dark chocolate, green apples, and most importantly, tastes like actual and explosive cooked and caramelized agave.Existing Conditions -
John Walker & Sons King George V
Blended — Scotland
Reviewed January 24, 2020 (edited January 24, 2022)This review is for Blue Label King George V. Definitely not your regular blue as it is very rich with notes of chocolate, caramel, citrus, red fruits, dried fruits, salt, peat, and smoke. However, after having this side by side with Hibiki 21, this is no Hibiki 21. -

Aberlour 19 Year (Cask No. 7502)
Single Malt — Speyside, Scotland
Reviewed January 14, 2020 (edited March 22, 2020)Cask 7502 as in the photo, considering there are also some from la Maison du Whisky and Taiwan. This is one amazing dram with an extraordinary color and has so many sweet, spicy, and bitter tasting notes from nose to palate to finish. The flavors include oranges, figs, plums, chocolate, cinnamon, toffee, cherries, raisins, oak, raspberries, and ginger.
