It's a typical bourbon. Similar to the single barrel but more heat and spice. It fades nicely and finishes smoothly.
Tasting the BiB beats out Single B, rye, wheat and small batch.

Nose: Off putting. Something burnt. Oak, Clove. I don’t like this. 1/5
Palate: Medium. Slightly creamy. Not bad but nothing interesting either. 2/5
Finish: Medium/Short. 2/5
Value: At $40 I expect much more. I’d take another Barton product, Very Old Barton BiB at $14 all day over this. 1/5

Neat in Glencairn at home. Nose has oak, vanilla, caramel, baking spices, lite apple. More character than the Small Batch. Taste has spices and oak, butterscotch, with mild heat coming on at the end. Bit oily. Nice lingering spicy finish. Decent. 12/18/20.
