Auchentoshan Three Wood

Nose: cut grass, raspberry leaves. Body: cherry skin, tannin, red wine, tobacco leaf, dark cacao, English tea After taste: bitter chocolate remains, cigar smoke, merlot

Carmel. Vanilla. Brown sugar. Tobacco.

Incredibly smooth with a lovely depth of flavor. Citrus, honey, apricots, with some deeper notes that are hard to place. Water dulled everything and really isn’t needed given how smooth this whisky is.

Very smooth. Sweet, but not syrupy. Buttery. Better without adding water, which seemed to only mute the flavours.
