Auchentoshan Three Wood

If there were such a thing as a barrel-aged maple scotch, this would be it. Very rich, syrupy sweet, but not disturbingly so. The alcohol shows up soon after to dry out that sweetness, and it fades like the pancakes you just ate.

Nose caramel, ripe berries, orange, hint of smoke. Smooth, caramel, very light smoke, spices, citrus, tingly on the tongue. 8/16/19

Nice and calm whisky, soft on the tongue. Oily and clean whisky
