Benriach The Smoky Twelve

Less campfire than the 10, more complexity. Still tons of smoke. On the tongue it's basically the 10 dialed up a touch. Similar flavors and feel, just a tiny bit better.

Tasted this alongside the 12 year. Enjoyed this version more, but they are both good drams. Nice smoke, with some chocolate and spice.

Evokes: the way your hair feels after you wash it after a bonfire: heavy smoke as you’re washing it, then lingering smoke through silky smooth locks post conditioning treatment. The bandaid/plaster aroma is strong with this one, but the finish is incredibly soft and smooth.
