Blue Run Kentucky Straight High Rye Bourbon

Nose: ethanol Palate: super spicy with vanilla and some Carmel Finish: this is where it shines. Long Kentucky hug. Spicy, lingers and warming. Overall: for me its more hype than delicious. I love a spicy rye but it lacks the complexity of a old scout smooth ambler cask strength rye or a willet blackened rye or the stellum black. The bottle is gorgeous. Designed by Nike I believe and some Facebook marketing guru. The juice was created by a master distiller. I like it but I won’t chase these other butterflies. I will come back to this one and see if it grows on me.

First note. Heavy ethanol, caramel and fruit with some heat. Long gradual and strong Kentucky hug. Dry mouth feel after. Spice that lingers and lingers.

Delicious, not too much spice

Has mellowed out alot since opening. Spice upfront, some faint fruit and a smooth finish. Not alot of malt, just good cant narrow it down, but this is good juice
