Soft, smooth and peaty. On the nose vinyl, peat and citrus. On the palate smoke, moss and hints of smoked meat, salt. Long finish

Nice, peaty taste

Excellent for the price. No young malty off notes. Pretty comparable to laphroaig 16 except this has a metallic note in the finish more reminiscent of Lagavulin 16. I’m tasting this in the context of 4 other caol ila expressions. Need to taste this alongside laphroaig 16 and Lagavulin 16 at some point.

Citrus, sweet peat. Mild rubber. Balanced smoke.

Heavy smoke and peat on the nose. Spicy and heavy palate. When adding water it completely changes, becomes more creamy and herbal. Without water meh, with water very good
