Smoke

Just the right amount of peat for me. Not very complex, but that’s okay for this.

Aroma of light wood smoke and fresh peat. So good.

The nose is wonderfully peated and smoky. The palette matches the nose, with a bit of additional oiliness. The finish is very smooth with just a hint of fire in the belly.

Tastes like tar and campfire. Smooth and light. Sticks in your mouth

Smooth smoke and peat

Aroma: Roasted ham, salt air, peat smoke, apple, and pear. Flavor: Peat smoke in salty ocean air, mild white pepper, & some pear. Taking a quicksip & swallowing, so it simply splashes over the tongue, has an almost caramel after-taste. Have to admit this reminds me of Laphroaig with the smokey peat flavor. Tasting based on neat sipping.
