Cardhu Gold Reserve (Game of Thrones-House Targaryen)

Nose - marzipan, golden syrup, apple, a bit vinous Taste - pretty soft/mild. Lightly sweet with a bit of holiday spice Perfectly pleasant, but not very complex. Best neat.

Apple juice, apricot, and pear on the nose. Smoke on the front of the front of the pallette with a bit of burn, finishing with the very sweet fruit tones. A little thin and dry but leaves a good after taste.

Simple, stewed apple, vanilla, toffee nose. More pronounced and complex with water. Taste is simple, straightforward malt sweetness, a touch of ripe honeycrisp apple, then light vanilla and oak. A super-friendly whisky; you can understand how Johnnie Walker is built on this.
