At the distillery.
Darker copper color, absolutely hangs on the glass. Only two or three very slow moving legs.
Nose is loaded with baking spice and a hint of eucalyptus. Tart cherries, stewed apple, a hint of vanilla...
Much softer and instantly warming on the sip.
Finish is medium length with lots of complexity: chocolate, dark caramel, baking cacao and prunes. Faintly reminiscent of a German chocolate cake eaten in a sawmill.
It's really good... Far more complex and interesting than the 91.
