Chivas Regal 18 Year Gold Signature

Nose: friendly, mild spices, vanilla sweetness, orchard fruits. Slightly floral. Palate: balanced, mouth covering sweetness and spices evolving together. Almond. Spices and dryness getting dominant for subsequent sips. Finish: long, oaky, chocolate, nuts. Overall, well balanced, complex, nice dram, but I am missing a bit more character. I agree with S4D member, who said "I like more whisky in my whisky" in their review.

A solid, easy-drinking and generally balanced blended Scotch that is much more delicate than his 12 year old brother. I get green apples and citrus on the nose. The palate is pleasant and balanced and has the slightest bit of peat on the background. Finish is medium long, sweet and honeyed, with enough spice to make you long for the next sip. "Good" : 2.75 stars | Good, just fine.
