First off, really stoked to have gotten my hands on this bottle. This particular one was batch 9. But getting into it, the nose likes what it smells. There's a boat load of caramel, red hots, sweet cherries, barrel char, and ethanol with the 130 proof. On the palate it's a nice balance of sweetness and spiciness. The amount of oak and char almost over powers the caramel and brown sugar that's normal from EHT. On the backend there is an overwhelming, building burn that makes for a very long finish.
