Batch 10 / Year 2021. 63.65% / 127.3 Proof. Sample bottle
Nose: Sweet vanilla, stewed apples and baking spices. Like fresh baked apple pie. Honey, bright and floral.
Palate: Slightly buttery with salted caramel and a hint of honey. Stewed apples, baking spices. Some mild black peppers which trail into hints of oak and tobacco.
Final Thoughts: Very enjoyable, on the nose and palate. It's subtle, yet rich in flavor. At times, it brought back childhood memories of Werther's Original Caramel hard candy, caramel apples and fresh baked apple pies.
Nose: Caramel, apple pie, nutmeg, vanilla, powdered sugar, fried dough, cherry, oak, and cinnamon. A wonderful nose - very sweet and very “desserty”. Palate: Apple pie in liquid form, the pie crust is there, nice flaky and buttery, caramelized apples in dark brown sugar, vanilla, spiciness coming through from cinnamon and nutmeg - barrel char and oak towards the end. So damn good!

I tried it alongside Buffalo trace. They are very similar, Taylor is just stronger. Think I prefer Buffalo trace for price and availability. I got this at MSRP but I had to spend the night at an abc store with below freezing temps. Wouldn’t do that again.

2021 bottling: Lots of oak on the nose. Like a dang sawmill. Rye spice and a Peppery mouthfeel the retreats to red apple and a little cherry. Finish is not so bad on the throat but lingers in the mouth and lips.
