Craigellachie 13 Year

The vote is in. Springbank but different. You know the speyside flavours. This adds bonfire, almost a touch of peat even. Plus salt. You can taste the abv in a pleasant way. Plus citrus (which I am assured will reveal as pineapple as it airs). Excellent. A new variation within an established profile. Winner.

Nose: floral, vanilla, honey Palate: fruits, honey, some salinity Finish: waxy, sweet, sulfur Not really my style, especially the honey notes, but not bad.
