Very smooth, hint of smoke. Not much depth.

A fine example of actual simplicity of whiskeys being broken down to two ingredients: grains and wood. Unless with some ice.

Spice and alcohol at the end, not for me.

This is pretty good for a budget blended Scotch. I bought a 50 mL for $1.95, and the 750 mL is available for $24.95 in NC. Initially the nose hit me with unpleasantness, but it is much smoother on the taste. I'd bet in a blind taste test it'd be hard to tell the difference between this and blends that are closer to $40. If you're looking for a Scotch under $30, it's hard to go wrong with this.

Very alcohol forward. Some sweetness and spice. Finish is mostly alcohol with maybe some honey in there. Would not recommend. 4/16/19 Airplane bottle
