Doc Swinson's Alter Ego Triple Cask Straight Bourbon Finished in Sherry & Cognac Casks

Balanced wood and sweet, drinkable despite the higher ABV. Vanilla notes. This was the cask strength edition at 57.3%ABV.

White wine, plum. Not bad but a but too much wine and sherry for my tastes

Can taste the sherry, some apricot and caramel. Sweet gives way to a long spicy finish. A bit harsh

Pleasant slightly floral nose. Unpleasant taste.

Soft fruit and leather nose. Nice, complex flavor with the sherry and cognac coming through. A good, lasting finish.
