Elijah Craig Toasted Barrel Bourbon

Not bad, good enough to have on hand but would take me a while to go though a bottle just dont see it as one of my goto pours

Vanilla and nice oak profile. Brown surgar and balanced. A dry finish for sure. Very solid pour if you can get a good price. Nice bottle to have around!

The nose is seeetness and wood. The initial taste is smooth and lught transitioning to spice and caramel followed by heat and dryness. Complex flavor woth a short finish.

The nose is caramel forward and then a spice or hazelnut comes through behind it. The smells and flavors might be more muted as we are towards the end of the bottle. The taate is very caramel that has a nice toast behind it. I remember the taste before this pour being more oak and toasted. On second taste the toasted burnt taste comes through stronger. The finish is longer than I would like but not overwhelming. In the end I wasn't ever a fan of the toasted flavor through the whiskey. This pour it wasn't overwhelming, but I believe that is just the oxygen changing the whiskey.

Excellent. The difference that the toasted barrel makes as compared to the standard stuff, it's honestly incredible. I never would have guessed this was the same thing. If you see one, just buy it. It's gotta be the best 94 proofer out there.

Got this after a big allocation release. Nose is sweet but get a different taste thsn ecpected. Bottle has lasted longer thhan expected because im a little underwhelmed. Don’t get many toasted flavors and feels a little thin. While still tasty, not my favorite toasted out there
