Hard to find but one of my favorite whiskeys

One of my favorite bourbons. Smooth, vanilla and oaky. If you can find it retail, grab it! At secondary (about $100) it’s overpriced but understand if you need to fill a collection, better to try it at a bar, about the same price as Blanton’s.

Peaches, caramel, vanilla on the nose. Apples and baking spices on the palate. Somewhat thin mouthfeel. The fruit disappears at the finish, leaving behind leather and oak to linger for a good while.
