Evan Williams 1783 Small Batch Bourbon

Not that great and the few bourbons that leave me with a headache in the morning. Get what you pay for I guess!

Tasty and mellow.

Butter, brown sugar, icing right up front. Smoother finish than the BIB. A slight bite. A tremendous bourbon for the price.

Sweet corn and oats followed by cinnamon red hot candies. Notes of cinnamon oatmeal with raisins and a sprinkle of brown sugar. Not as sweet as the EW BiB, but the extra time in the barrel gives it some oakiness and bite that’s missing from the white label. They’re both really, really good for the price, but such different products. Evan Williams may be the king of the bottom shelf, and that’s definitely not a bad thing.

Bright orange, cinnamon, subtle charred oak finish

This is a solid pour with a great flavor profile. If you're looking for a change of pace as a new daily sipper, it's hard to find a better option. This bottle out drinks its price point. I keep a bottle.
