This one is kind of confusing. The nose opens up with sweet smells of vanilla, but add some water and hints of licorice appear. The palate is very spicy with an oak taste and the spice carries through the finish. Solid pour, love the price, but probably not my go to BiB.

Appearance: The white label sets this whiskey apart from the rest of the Evan Williams line. Other than that in my option nothing crazy about its overall presentation. When poured, it is light amber in color.
Nose: Someone new to whiskey will probably mostly get some brown sugar and banana notes on the nose with a possible faint hint of peanut dust.
Palate: This whiskey is light and thin feeling in the mouth. The largest notes come from the spice present with some oak and fruit notes as well. The finish has some white pepper with a bit of a bite coming from the 100 proof.
Overall not a bad bourbon for the price. Personally I’m not as big of a fan because I tend to like thicker feeling whiskey and this is rather thin. However, for a person just getting into bourbon this has most of the notes you would think of when drinking a bourbon. Would never turn down a glass if it was offered to me.
