Ezra Brooks Distiller's Collection Bourbon

Meijer Steward Select Single Barrel Barrel Pick Barrel#: 7851088 Barreled: 11/21/17 4 Year, 10 Month Old First taste, neck pour, open in glencairn glass for over 30 minutes. Nose (Neat): Cherry cola cream soda and a touch of spice. No detectable ethanol smell. Palate (Neat): Light buttery sweetness, that opens up to light red fruit and a touch of tobacco. Finish (Neat): Medium spice that melts back to slightly sweet buttery pie crust. Medium bourbon hug.

Carmel vanilla a bit hot but a nice little chocolate on the end of the palate

Strong with a spicy kick. Mellows with a splash of water. Nice complexity

Hot hot! Ads I’ve to pickup some vanilla butter and toffee. Aroma is great but it’s hot to taste. I prefer with some water or melted ice.

Some what sweet. Hints of caramel, oak and dried green apple. Very smooth and easy to drink. It’s 107 proof (53.5 abv) but goes down like 80 proof (40 abv). I’ll be buying this again.

I really like the Ezra brooks 99 but this tasted like fingernail polish remover. One of the more disappointing purchases I’ve made.
