Famous Grouse

Picked this up as a discontinued item at a liquor store I know to carry good whiskey. Clearly they will not carry it because this one is NOT good whiskey. Took it to a karaoke party and the scotch stunk worse than the drunk singers. I agree with the commentator who cried “sulfur”. At first I was hoping it was smoky or peaty as those are things I love in a scotch but no. This was burnt and sulfur, and I couldn’t choke it down. I got zero fruit. I left it at my friend’s bar. Hopefully they will get some use out of it.
