On the nose, light spice, vanilla and corn. On the tongue, pretty much the same. Very smooth, but too mild-mannered for me. There are no stand-out flavors here... but then again, maybe that's the point. I get the feeling this was made to appeal to a broad audience. Overall, a smooth and inoffensive bourbon. If you've tried Yellow Label's cousins - Small Batch or Single Barrel - you can tastes hints of them way down in the background. 2 stars overall due to the lack of any real personality, but 5 stars in the under $20 category.
